Fernandez suffers season-ending injury 

Sophomore sprinter Jaden Fernandez saw a great track season cut short last week at the North Bay League Championships, suffering an injury in the 100-meter trials on May 1. The disappointing injury wraps up a record-shattering campaign for Fernandez that included new school records in both the 100 meters (11.21) and 200 meters (23.07), laying the groundwork for future success.
Chavez in midst of great track campaign

Sophomore Isabela Chavez is in the throes of a breakout track campaign for the Jaguars, emerging as one of the top sprinters in the Redwood Empire.  Chavez was at her season’s best at the North Bay League finals on May 3, capturing second place in the 100 meters (12.57) and fourth overall in the 200 meters (26.63) to advance to the NCS Redwood Empire meet.
