Amormino wraps up great tennis campaign
Senior Jack Amormino put the final touches on an outstanding spring tennis campaign at the North Bay League Singles Championships on April 25, winning three matches before being defeated. Amormino navigated his way unscathed through the singles bracket to reach the finals, where he fell to Joey Greco of Cardinal Newman in an epic championship match; 1-6, 7-6 (7-3), 4-6.
Jaramillo heating up for Lady Jaguars
Windsor High School softball catcher Kasandra Jaramillo has been rock solid since her return to the lineup from injury, making huge contributions in all phases of the game. The junior veteran was at her best in an April 23 tilt with Montgomery, ripping two hits in three trips, scoring a pair of runs and driving in one to key a 5-3 win over the Vikings.
