Windsor man commits suicide at Police Department

A Windsor man has died of what appears to be a self inflicted
gun shot wound outside the Windsor Police Department.
The body of fifty nine year old Windsor resident Franklin Lunn
was found by officers at about 10 p.m. on December 20. A handgun
was located near the body.
According to Windsor Police Chief Steve Freitas, Lunn had not
had any recent contact with police officers and his reason for
coming to the Police Department is unknown at this time.
Lunn’s family have been notified and the Sheriff Office Coroner
Unit is conducting the death investigation.
