AND IT TASTED GOOD TOO – Last Thursday Windsor Farmers Market
Manager Glenda Castelli (center) received official confirmation
from Guinness World Records Limited that the pumpkin pie baked for
the Windsor Farmers Market on Oct. 26, 2003 did, in fact, set a
world record. The certificate proclaims “The largest pumpkin pie
weighed 189.6 kg (418 lb) and was made by the Windsor Certified
Farmers Market and Windsor High School Culinary Arts Program, and
served at the Farmers Market, Windsor, California, USA on 26
October 2003. Keeper of the Records, Guinness World Records Ltd.”
