Some 26 local athletes from Healdsburg and Geyserville high
schools garnered all-league honors this month in voting by league
coaches.
Not surprisingly, the NCS runner-up Greyhound varsity baseball
team led the way in terms of numbers, with eight players named to
the all-SCL squad. In addition, Hounds skipper Mark Domenichelli
landed Coach of the Year honors. The Healdsburg varsity softball
team, winners of 13 games this season, was represented by three
players on the all-league squad.
Geyserville softball ace pitcher Vanessa Flores led the way for
the co-champion Lady Bronchos, as she was named the North Central
League II South Most Valuable Player. She was joined on the
all-league team by seven of her teammates. The Bronchos¹ baseball
squad landed four athletes to the all-league team. Below is the

name an all-league team.
