Analy junior softball pitcher Kat Lawrence put the icing on a
tremendous Spring campaign this month when she was named the Sonoma
County League Most Valuable Player in voting by league coaches.
Lawrence fanned over 200 batters in posting a 17-4 overall
record this year in leading the Lady Tigers to the NCS championship
game and their third straight league title. She becomes the fourth
consecutive Analy player to garner the MVP award dating back to
2003.
In all, 26 West County athletes were selected for Spring
all-league teams this year, including 11 from El Molino. Below is
the complete list of all-SCL honorees. Note: there were no
all-league teams selected for track and swimming.
