West County high school volleyball teams made a quick exit in their respective North Coast Section playoff tournaments, with both El Molino and Analy falling to first round opponents.
Analy (13-10) was the number 13 seed in the Division 3 tourney, opening up at to fourth seeded Alhambra on Nov. 1. Despite a good battle, the Bulldogs did just enough to hold off the Tigers to win in straight sets; 25-19, 25-22 and 25-23.
Statistical leaders for Analy were Ava Ehnes (8 kills, 6 digs), Claire Rudderow (6 kills, 11 digs) and Tallulah Kuula (5 kills, 12 digs).
Lions bounced

El Mo (10-13) represented the number 12 seed in the Division 4 tournament, taking on the unenviable task of traveling to Crescent City to face number 5 Del Norte in the opening round on Nov. 1. The Lions gave the Warriors all they could handle but fell in four hard-fought games; 14-25, 14-25, 25-23 and 21-25.
