El Molino will be hoops central next week when it hosts the first annual Lions Classic Basketball Tournament from Monday, Dec. 28 through Wednesday, Dec. 30.
Participating teams include: El Molino, Elsie Allen, DeAnza, Emory, Castlemont, Justin Siena, Healdsburg and St. Helena. Â
El Mo will open the tournament on Monday, Dec. 28 in an 8:30 p.m. clash with St. Helena. Should the Lions win, they will take on the survivor of the Healdsburg-Justin Siena game on Tuesday, Dec. 29 at 8:15 p.m.
The Lions (2-5) are coming off a decent showing in the Grand Lake Invitational Ace Hardware Tournament in Piedmont last weekend, logging their second win of the campaign in a 49-34 victory over Berean Christian (no stats reported).   Â
