Top honors at fair

MILK COW BLUES — Caterina Balletto of Forestville 4-H and her
Champion 4-H Replacement Heifer, Lola. Balletto purchased Lola 2
1/2 years ago from dairyman Stan Poncia and raised her from a calf
through Sonoma County’s 4-H Dairy Replacement Heifer Program. After
winning, Lola was purchased by American AgCredit of Windsor. She is
expected to have her first calf in August and begin her life as a
milk cow.
