Northern Sonoma County Fire District to conduct prescribed burn today at Rio Lindo Academy

The Northern Sonoma County Fire District, in collaboration with neighboring fire departments, is conducting a prescribed burn on Oct. 28, at the Rio Lindo Academy in Healdsburg.
The plan is to burn two units of land simultaneously, totaling about 11.4 acres. If conditions aren’t good, the fire district will conduct the burn on Friday, Oct. 29 and if fair conditions persist, they’ll also burn a 4.8-acre plot of land.
