Ready to play!

The clouds parted and it was a perfect day for baseball on Sunday, April 8, as the Cloverdale Little League celebrated with Opening Day ceremonies at Daly Field.
Festivities included the parade of teams, an introduction by league president Justin Jackson and the traditional playing of the National Anthem. The first pitch was thrown out by longtime board member Brandon Axell.
This year’s CLL will feature some 180 kids and 17 teams in five divisions, including T-ball, Coach Pitch, Minors, Majors and Juniors.
Regular season games run from April to the end of May, followed by the Tournament of Champions and finishing with the District-35 All-Star tournaments in July.
