The Cloverdale High School cross country squad traveled to Willits in the last regular season dual meet, out-pointing the Wolverines in varsity boys and girls competition.
The boys, led by undefeated standout Paden Collard, posted a narrow 27-28 victory over Willits, while the varsity girls, led the Julie Edwards, captured the first five spots to easily win their race, 15-55.
Both Eagles’ varsity teams finished the league season with identical 5-2 records.
Next up are the Coastal Mountain Conference Championships hosted by Willits. The varsity girls’ race is slated for 1:45 p.m. while the varsity boys’ race is set for 2:30 p.m.
