The varsity football Eagles are limping to the finish line following their fifth straight loss on Friday, Oct. 25 at St. Helena, falling to the Saints, 47-0.
The Eagles entered the game suffering numerous injuries to key players, and failed to crack a tough St. Helena defense that yielded just 99 total yards on the night.
On Oct. 30, the North Coast Section announced that the divisional playoff tournaments would be pushed back a week to Nov. 15, allowing teams to make up games due to the Kincade Fire and evacuations. As a result, the Eagle’s scheduled home finale (Senior Night) against Middletown will be played on Friday, Nov. 8. The JV and varsity kick off at 5 and 7:30 p.m. Â
