The Lady Eagles suffered a similar fate in a pair of home games last week, soundly defeating visiting Lower Lake (62-39) before falling to Middletown (43-37).
Cloverdale (3-1, 9-3) will resume NCL-1 play this week with scheduled games at Fort Bragg on Jan. 20, and return home to St. Helena this Friday, Jan. 23 (6/7:30 p.m.).  The ladies will entertain visiting St. Bernard’s of Eureka this Saturday, Jan. 24 in a 2 p.m. tip-off.
The ladies got off to a hot start in the Jan. 13 home clash with Lower Lake, jumping out to a 35-21 halftime advantage. There was no let-up after the break, as the Eagles cruised to a 23-point margin of victory.
Top scorers included Angel Bernardi (23 points, 14 rebounds), Karsyn Stewart (7 points), and Ale Perez (7 points).
Cloverdale entertained a strong Middletown squad on Friday, with the teams battling on even terms for the first two quarters as the Mustangs took an 18-17 halftime lead.  Middletown put the clamps on the Eagles’ offense in the decisive third period opening up an eight point lead en route to an eventual 43-37 win.
Angel Bernardi led all scorers with 15 points.
